TobyMac is Tyler-bound as he’ll perform at the Oil Palce Saturday, March 7. He’s known as a Christian rapper who was a member of D.C. Talk from 1987 until 2000 when the band broke up. He continued his musical journey by branching off and starting his own solo career with albums such as Momentum, Welcome to Diverse City, Portable Sounds, Tonight, Eye on It and others. He’s in the midst of releasing a remix album, “Eye’m All Mixed Up.” In 2012, his album, “Eye on it” made him the first and only Christian artist to debut No.1 on the Billboard’s Top 200 chart. In February 2013, it received a Grammy for the best contemporary Christian Music.
