Coming up with Christmas gift ideas for 2010

Usually during Christmas time I have a very hard time buying gifts.

As you get older and your friends and family get older many of them pretty much have everything they want already.

And I sure ain’t going to be buying no one a big screen TV or something like that unless its my wife. I already know she doesn’t want that so not going to be doing that.

Here are a few ideas both local to Tyler and a couple on the internet that work out great for finding gifts.

Tuesday Morning in the shopping strip that you find Cotton Patch restaurant has great affordable gifts to choose from. They are right across from Robert E Lee highschool and may be just the shopping store your looking for.

Don’s TV and appliances is a locally owned TV and appliance store by a good family in Tyler Texas. You have likely seen most of them on their corny TV commercials. If you run in to them in town try to not bring up the commercial, they may have heard that one a time or two. They have good deals on their TV’s and kitchen appliances and if your buying a lot they might drop that price a little more for ya.

Regarding buying Christmas gifts online the neat thing to do this year is buy a unique hand made gift online from a website called Etsy (etsy.com). Some people in my family did this and you may come away with a cheap price tag but a cool gift. Also a website called thinkgeek (thinkgeek.com) offers really off the wall Christmas 2010 gifts like the fresh water fish training kit I bought for my father n’ law last year. For some reason it’s still boxed up.

For a really cool gift idea or two that is kinda pricey you could buy an Ipad for a toddler and spouse. Make it a combo. The stuff adults can do on an Ipad are endless but kids and toddler games are only about $3 each and they are extremely intuitive and educational. In fact I would go so far to say the Ipad will stomp on any of those fake looking toddler laptop games you see at the Tyler Target and Walmart.

Well I hope this has given you a little food for thought regarding this 2010 Christmas gift idea solution here in little old Tyler Texas. And without sounding too holy be sure to support a Christian missionary this Christmas season working in a muslim country.

Do HCG Hormone Shots Work?

So, people, when it comes to your game plan for losing those extra pounds after these holiday seasons don’t hold on to your “Childress/Phillips” diet scheme when everyone else knows it’s not working!

Claiming the Sun…

Ok I loved this story so much I had to write a little editorial about it. It seems a Spanish woman has taken “Legal” ownership of the sun. How did she do it? She merely went to a notary and filed a claim of ownership of the gaseous orb. She said she now intends to charge a usage fee which she plans to spend on various Spanish social programs, and ending world hunger. Obviously I expect this is nothing more than a big publicity stunt by someone who is desperate for attention. What I find interesting is that European liberals are evidently daydreaming about charging people for using natural resource they can’t not use! It would basically amount to a tax on being alive!

Now before you ridicule me for taking seriously, someone’s crazy bid for exposure let me pose a question to East Texans here at home. How much sillier is a solar user fee than a carbon tax? The carbon tax is being pushed by many environmental groups who fear that an increase in co2 is causing our climate to change for the warmer. Many American liberals would impose a tax on any power supply system or engine which produces co2. But carbon is produced naturally by most living things in our planet’s ecosystem… including us! Unfortunately green groups are increasingly seeing profit potential in selling or taxing things they cannot own or operate, and thus cannot lose money on. In short it’s nothing more than a cynical redistribution plan. Anytime a government entity wants to charge us for something they are unable furnish or regulate directly it amounts to nothing more than confiscation. Today the co2 and solar power, tomorrow oxygen and water. We’re laughing now, but we may not be forever.

B Ki, ever heard of it? So your a guy and you want to lose weight no problem. Simply allow us to inject your body with woman’s pregnancy hormones. But I’m a guy! That’s ok the hormones will trick your body into thinking you are a pregnant woman and will help you lose weight. However you must adhere to a very strict low calorie diet.

Huh?

I would rather just do the low calorie diet than the whole drinking mad scientist serum to turn into a pregnant woman because it just sounds unnatural a bit.

Well that’s not what is going on, we inject this stuff in your body and cough..cough..you may start going bald especially if you are already a woman.

I really don’t think I like the sound of this stuff B Ki.

This is the thinking that goes in my head from listening to friends of mine who have done the woman pregnancy hormone thing to try and lose weight.

Woman Pregnancy Hormone and Weight Loss

Quite a few people describe this $1695 dollar weight loss plan as the starvation diet while the pregnancy hormone serves to offer a placebo effect while giving you the benefit of going bald at the same time.

I don’t know if the rumor is true but a guy commented on this site that the local Tyler Texas B Ki clinic has shut down and they have multiple lawsuits against them. Some of these lawsuits are said to be from previous employees that worked at B Ki as well as clients?

I was also told that the Texas Attorney General is investigating B Ki for false claims promoted in their advertising and by their sales people.

I don’t know how much of this is hearsay or real but I plan to request the Texas Attorney General complaints to do a little fact checking.

At this point I must point out that B Ki is innocent until proven guilty and these things are alleged offenses that must be taken through a court of law. Most of what I have said in this post is just my complete lack of understanding played out in a witty little joke that this stuff will turn a guy into a woman. Come on people, it won’t do that but you may lose your hair.

The name of the woman pregnancy hormone used in this clinic is called the HCG hormone shot.

If you are overweight now would be the time to do a little more research before injecting this stuff in your body.
