Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches has opened a restaurant off of Troop in Tyler. I have seen this restaurant for a while but I have finally had the opportunity to eat there. The set up of the restaurant is very unique with the sarcastic signs, modern style, and open kitchen. I would always laugh when I drove by and saw the neon sign that read “Free Smells”, but when you walked in the store you knew right away what they are talking about. The great smells of freshly cook bread is the first thing that greets you as you walk into the restaurant. The kitchen is open and the sandwiches that you order are prepared right in front of you so that you are ensured that your sandwiches are made fresh. The menu is all the great inventions of Jimmy John himself, with the exception of a few friends and family. All of the sandwiches have different selections of fresh bread, meats, cheeses, sauces, and vegetables.
Jimmy John’s slogan “no shirts, no shoes, no problem; we deliver.” is a great way to express the convenience of their delivery services. They can cater to any size party, including sandwich trays or large subs, chips, drinks, cookies, and even pickle spears. The food is made fresh and delivered to your door or business. You can make orders online or by calling into the store.
Jimmy John’s restaurant has a great menu of tasty and fresh sandwiches. The great atmosphere and polite service makes the restaurant a great place to catch up with friends, go on a lunch date, or have a lunch business meeting. Jimmy John’s restaurant is a new kind of deli here in East Texas, and with the open kitchen you can see and taste the freshness of their sandwiches.

NetFlix is a great way to watch the most movies from your home, and they keep making their business more convenient. For a while you had to wait for the mail to come in to get to watch a new movie. You would pre-choose your top movies that you would want to watch and make your list on the NetFlix website. They then send you one movie at a time starting with your first choice. They still use this old way of doing things, but they have added even more simple ways to watch movies from home. They first started the ability to instantly watch movies through their website. They give you many options of tons of movies to watch. Last year NetFlix came out with the technology to watch movies over your Wii or Playstation. They use to send you a disc to plan on your console but now you can now download a NetFlix application right to your game console. You can then scroll through the many different categories, such as; children and family, foreign, horror, television shows, drama, and romantic comedy. You can put any movies on your instant queue to watch whenever you want. You can also watch your instant queue through your computer. You can rate the shows and movies that you like and NetFlix will suggest movies to you that are like the movies that you liked the most. Do not expect that movies that have just been released to be on instant NetFlix, you can get all new releases through the mail though.
NetFlix has a very affordable monthly fee. You can get new releases through the mail and instant through your computer or your game console for only nine dollars a month. Although not all television shows or movies are on the instant NetFlix, there is such a large selection of movies that you are sure to find something that you are in the mood for. You do not have to leave your house to watch a movie, and there are no late fees for any movies through the mail. NetFlix is the most affordable and convenient way to rent movies.

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening disease that starts at birth. The child can get it if both parents are carriers of defective CF gene. Mucus builds up in the lungs and organs or a person with Cystic Fibrosis and this causes their organs and lungs to shut down and many people have to get transplants; but even transplants will not heal Cystic Fibrosis because Cystic Fibrosis dwells in the cells. Over 30,000 children and adults in the United States alone has been diagnosed with CF. There is no known cure for Cystic Fibrosis for the time being. There are many diets, therapies, and hospital care that can help with people live with this disease. Many people have passed away very young due to this disease. A young girl who grew up in Tyler just recently passed away after having a lung transplant that her body rejected. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as a toddler, and had to live a large amount of her life in hospitals and clinics. She was only 23 when she passed away. She lived with Cystic Fibrosis and knew the dangers and reality of the disease but she celebrated and made the most of the life that she was given to live.
Cystic Fibrosis is closer than we know. There are many things we can do to help with the research of Cystic Fibrosis. In 1955 The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was founded. At that time children with CF were not expected to live longer than a few years old. The study of this disease has come a long way but they still have not found a cure and many people are passing away due to this disease. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports scientists and doctors that are searching for a cure. They run on support and donations. There have been many different businesses in Tyler that has raised money for this foundation. McAlister’s Deli, Double Dave’s Pizza, and many other places have had events to raise money to support the search of CF. the CF foundation has an annual walk at different locations in East Texas. The next event coming to East Texas is at the new BJ’s restaurant. They are opening their doors to many different invited guests to eat from their special complimentary menu, but ask that everyone that eats there gives a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
These events are a great way to reach out to our community and the many people that are suffering or have lost loved one due to this disease. You can be a part of something great! The riddle of the day, what does Tyler have dozens of but keeps building? If you guessed Tex-Mex restaurants, then you got it right. Chuy’s restaurant is expected to open in Tyler April of this year. Well what makes Chuy’s any different than the rest of the Tex-Mex restaurants in Tyler? Why wouldn’t we stick to eating at Jalapeño Tree or Mercado’s restaurant? Chuy’s promises a new, fun, and different environment. Chuy’s restaurant started in an old barbeque shack in Austin, Texas. As two young men, Mike Young and John Zapp used all their money to open this first restaurant; they had no more than $20 to decorate. As you can imagine they had to use what they could find. Chuy’s restaurants still use this decorating technique. At some Chuy’s restaurants you might find tire rims hanging from the ceiling or old traffic signs hanging on the wall. They have a signature item in every restaurant which is the Elvis Shrine. One of the most important things about the restaurant is that they make a fun restaurant that makes you feel right at home.
The feel of the restaurant is fun, but more importantly the food is made fresh. The two men traveled towns in South Texas, Mexican boarder towns, and New Mexico, to find the best Tex-Mex recipes. It is important that Chuy’s food is made fresh. They have amazing hand rolled tortillas, and they make their salsa fresh every hour. The amazing and fun menu is unique and will make your mouth water just reading over it. You can enjoy a great hand made signature drink or just a usual personal favorite. If you are having a party and want great food, you can order off of their great “Party to Go Menu”. The food is sure to be fresh and they have healthier choices of Mexican foods.

Chuy’s restaurant is a new and growing chain restaurant and its next stop is here in Tyler.
