Parrott Park in Lindale Texas is beginning their second year of annual events and they are kicking it off right with the bigger and better. They asked us to publish this for anyone in East Texas to see. This is a great park and event, I highly recommend you bring out the whole family for this truly unique park and day!

When you are raising children and paying for school, money gets tight, and you forget about the importance of saving money for doctor’s appointments. But tucked away in Lindale are the offices of Wendell and Donna Hand.

When you walk into the doctor’s office you will only be greeted by an over crowded waiting room decorated by a few faded posters on the wall and outdated magazines. Being a walk-in doctor’s office, it is “first come first served.” So you might be waiting in the two small rooms for quite awhile, depending on which doctor you are there to see. At times the small waiting rooms can feel extremely crowded and uncomfortable.
After you sit there for a quite awhile your name is called and if you didn’t have a headache before you probably do now. As a side note I would like to say to all the people out there, that if someone is sitting in the doctor’s office waiting area they probably are not feeling well, please do not talk so loud that people can hear you from outside, or play extremely annoying hard core rock music out of your headphones, so loud that everyone around you feels like they are going deaf.
A lady will lead you into the back with a smile on her face. You never have been so happy to see a doctor to get out of the chaos of the waiting room. When you walk to the back room, they weigh you in and sit you in the doctor’s office.
After you answer a few questions to the doctor’s assistant you are left in the back office to wait some more. When the doctor comes in you are welcomed with a personal friendship. I usually see Dr. Wendell Hand, he always seems to remember me and my family. Its great to have the comfort of a friendly greeting.
Dr. Hand always is there to help you feel better but he will offer the cheapest way to become healthy. Both doctors understand that a lot of their patients are not wealthy so they serve their patients as a mission to reach out to the community and less fortunate.
Although you may need to sit and wait some what annoyed for a while, if you need to go to a doctor, but can not afford the $100 dollars up front plus the insane amount of hidden fees, than you should go to the offices of Dr. Hand. They treat you with respect and will help you live the most healthy lifestyle.

The site is operated by Nathan Hague, (also known as Neigh- neigh), and contains articles, headlines and links from the world of sports, particularly, but not exclusive to, Texas. Nathan, a journalism major from SFA, (and TJC prior to that), has been a sports writer for the Baytown Sun, and has worked around radio and broadcasting off and on for a number of years.
Just over two years ago Nathan decided to attempt something new, a sports talk podcast. It was mostly an opportunity for him to hone his understanding of broadcasting, but over the last couple of years the show has garnered something of a following. The format of the show is pretty simple: Nathan, accompanied by a few, mostly well informed friends discuss, complain about, debate and even occasionally mock, major events and individuals from the sports headlines. Ben Dieter host of his own baseball website and podcast, entitled The Ranger Report, is an almost weekly co-host. In fact, the two hosts have worked so closely together, that about six months ago they essentially merged their shows into one. Regular listeners can find the program at either www.thehaguesports.com or www.therangerreport.com .The name depends largely on which site listeners use to download the latest episode. I walked into my local pharmacy in Lindale Texas the other day to see the notorious Power Balance bracelet for sale on the front counter. They were selling it for $19.95 which is usually the price I see it for at other places.
Right next to it was another bracelet called the Phiten Sporting Bracelet. This one claims some different health benefits such as the ability to enhance circulation and promote relaxation in the arm, wrist and shoulder.
I couldn’t believe a pharmacy was selling this considering I put places like the pharmacies in a scientific category in my mind that isn’t necessarily a business accustomed to selling wacko science products.
For instance I usually see ear candles in wellness and herb type stores but rarely do I see ear candles fro sale in my local pharmacy.
The new Phiten sporting bracelet is 100 % silicone which I don’t understand would be touted as being such a great benefit. If they were to say it was 100% made out of gold I might buy it.
These Phiten bracelets have embedded micro titanium sphere zones in them. What is a micro titanium sphere zone? I don’t know and I am sure that is what Phiten hopes many people will think as well so as to let peoples imaginations run wild and come up with their own scientific explanation.
A fun fact about the Phiten brand bracelets is that some pretty big sports stars use this brand. CJ Wilson with the Texas Rangers wears a Phiten necklace and pitches on a professional MLB pitching mound. And it’s not just him that wears this type of thing. Pretty much all the pitchers wears these necklaces accept for Cliff Lee who has now left the Rangers to play with the Phillies.
The balance bracelet enthusiasts and believers out there that are quick to give testimonials on all the ways the bracelets have healed their bodies as well as go into how the bracelets work in a pseudo science kind of manner.

Last year we had some arsonists in Tyler who burned down some churches. Just a few days ago however a Gothic looking girl from what I can make out in the mug shot climbed over the secure wall fence area of the Tyler police department squad car area and doused a police car in fuel and lit it on fire.
It is a bizarre story indeed but at this time we must say that these are only alleged indictments against this young lady. This girl does seem to look a little mischievous with the died black hair, heavy eyeliner, and is also from the Lindale area as were those church fire arsonsist from last year (not saying she had anything to do with that).
We hope Payton Herrington was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time so as not to further tarnish the reputation of Lindale Texas. Since Payton was inside the secured fenced in area and the fuel canister can be traced back to her it seems to look like she was caught red handed.
I think she really dressed up for the part in torching a police car as she has a nice red Christmas looking dress on for the occassion and some heavy eye liner. If your going to do some pranks in Tyler Texas setting a police car on fire is not one I would recommend. Also taking down stop signs at intersections and throwing manicans over highway overpasses would be a big no no.
And for those who thought at first glance that this was the Leave Britney alone girl in Tyler I can see why you might think this. They do look a little bit alike.
