The consignment store Mommy and Me in Tyler Texas has moved to a new location. Before they moved their store was really small and was unable to keep all the clothes organize in the store, and many times had to set up a lot of their clothes outside. Although they had their boy’s clothes separated from their girl’s clothes. It was hard to find what you were looking for. In the old location, Mommy and Me was tucked on the side of a building that you could not really see it from the road, it was easy to drive right past it.
The new location (which was formally California Girl) makes the store easier to find. Even though the location have moved and the store is larger, it has not changed the clothes they sale. When you are shopping at Mommy and Me you really have to make sure there are not any stains or rips in the clothes. I understand that they clothes that they sale are all used clothes and are resold at their store, but I think that they should have a smaller selection of clothing that are in better shape. It is hard to dig through clothes that are all stained to find the one outfit that is the right size and clean.

It is harder to find good clothes for infants, because most of the clothes are not in very good shape, but they are sold at great prices. Their little boy’s selection is really small most of the time. Their selections do vary so you can always find something new when you return. Mommy and Me does have a better selection for girls from sizes 18months-3T (which is great for me since I shop for those sizes).
Selling your used clothes at a consignment store is a great way to put a little extra cash in your pocket especially because kids grow so fast and only wear one size for a few months. The people that work and own Mommy and Me are great to work with and are really nice.
I think that it is worth going to Mommy and Me. Even though you have to dig to find what you are looking for, it is possible for you to find something in good shape for a great price. Shopping here is sort of a like a treasure hunt, which can be fun but frustrating at the same time.
