The Children’s Place
Broadway Square mall
4601 S Broadway

The Children’s Place is a store in the mall where you can find great up-to-date fashions for babies and children’s clothing up to the age of 14 without paying a huge amount for them.
There are many things I love about the Children’s Place.
Firstly – the bright colors! Why dress your kids in drab colors when they can look cool and trendy in bright shades? They will have plenty of time in their adult lives for wearing pastels and black.
Secondly – the quality. The Children’s Place in Tyler TX is proof that you can have fashion and good quality. The things I buy last more than one season and more than one kid – you can pass them down or even consign them easily. The clothes wash well and are immensely practical for school and play wear.
Thirdly – you can buy things to match! I am not obsessive about having everything the same but doesn’t it feel good when you can dress your child in co-ordinating socks, hats and even hair accessories. Not only that, but you can buy matching outfits for different kids. My 7 year old is so proud that his baby brother has the same striped sweater as him. It is usually the girls that have all the fun with clothes but here is his chance to have something special that people compliment him on.
The Children’s Place also has really good end of season sales. You can sign up on their website to be informed about them or you can shop for bargains online. I have done that on occasions and been delighted to receive a large box of clothes for just $5 shipping. You can also return them to the store for credit if they don’t fit or you change your mind about a purchase. One thing I have found is that the sizes run slightly small – especially for baby wear so if you are not sure about the size, buy the larger. Otherwise I have no complaints about the clothes we buy.
Finally, I have found that a gift card for the Children’s Place is a good baby shower or birthday gift and if you are a coupon hoarder then sign up for the birthday club in store or online for discounts on your child’s birthday.
Matching fleecy Christmas pajamas – for a steal at $10 a pair from the Children’s Place

Fashion Metro is a very chic place to shop. The name fits the store …..very Metro. Clothes from all sizes and very nice in my opinion. They are located on Rt 64 West next to Wendy’s and Wal Mart’s I go there from time to time just to see what they have. In fact I went there today and they were having a pretty good sale I think. I spent $23 and ended up with four things from the store. Sales ranging from $3.99 per item to the most expensive one being $8. Nice huh, I thought so. Shoes are also available, the only draw back is that the smallest size is 7 and up. So for the ladies that have small feet…like me. We are out of luck and we have to go shopping for shoes next door to Payless. Even though I can’t find shoes there it’s still very nice and they have my style of clothes.
If you are a jewelry type of girl, than you are in for a treat…because they have all types of accessories and color and size or style you can imagine. Ladies if you are looking for a very nice looking undergarments for very good price…Fashion Metro has a variety of good undergarments and lingerie to make you look good for your husband. Purses galore, belts, watches and a very nice selection of children’s clothes. Don’t worry if you are not a size one they have something for everybody…even carry things for your man also.
If you haven’t had a chance to go in and shop at the Tyler location I would recommend that the next time you are around there, you stop in and look around the store. You might just find something you can’t go home without. Unfortunately it happens to me more than I would like to admit. Make sure you only take as much money that you won’t miss ….or you will do like me and spend it all.

The UPS store on HWY 64 and loop 323 is an awesome branch of the company. I have experienced excellent service. Once I needed to ship several boxes to a friend in another state but wasn’t sure how many boxes I would need. They said bring in all the stuff (which was clothes, shoes, books and random stuff), they would pack it themselves the cheapest way it could possibly be packed and then ship it. I was shocked.
They even came out to my car, put it all on a dolly, carried it in, and proceeded to pack it. They didn’t need me for anything. They were even willing to call my friend to get the credit card number for her to be able to pay. That day it was top notch service from the UPS. I would recommend this branch to anyone.

It’s Fashion Metro is a clothing store just in front of the Walmart at HWY 64 and Loop 323. It is plane on the outside but full of color and style displayed in the merchandise. They sell cheap cheap cheap jewelry, shoes, lingerie, clothes… and quite the variety for it all too. I love shopping here because I know I’m always going to find something I like for dirt cheap. If your style is hip, colorful, fun or too expensive for your income then most likely you will find a piece of treasure here.
It’s Fashion Metro also goes by the name It’s Fashion and is a part of a bigger company called The Cato Company, which specializes in value-priced fashion. Which means you should be bound to find something useful from either store for a very low price. I hope you grow to enjoy this store. I certainly do!

Tyler Good Will is located on Loop 323 past Mercado’s on the other side of the street. This is one of their locations. I know they have another store located on Locust Street close to down town Tyler. I am sure we are all pretty familiar with Good Will and the other type of thrift stores around Tyler Texas. I know that there are many people including myself that consider Good Will a blessing.
Good Will charity works mostly by donations, this is how they get their stuff and they in turn sell it to the people for way less than other stores. This Tyler charity should sell these things for less because they are second hand things that people no longer want or need and want to help other people in some way or another. Good Will gives you a receipt that you can write off because you donated your belongings to them.
I truly enjoy going there because you can find some good stuff there. You have to spend time searching for things that you are looking for and that could be time consuming for some people. Most people go there and get frustrated because they spend all this time and find nothing. These people give up on places like Good Will and other stores like it because of lack of patience and the itch for digging for buried treasure.
The trick to this kind of shopping is to go back again and again and actually go through all their items instead of just quickly going threw some racks. They have clothes from all shapes and sizes and from different places. If you look closely you can find some very well known brands like, Hollister, Ambercrombie, Gap, Mossimo and others just to name a few.
I don’t always find name brand stuff but I always end up finding some really nice stuff. They also have shoes there. I can’t even remember how many times I have paid $1 dollar for a nice pair of shoes that were in excellent condition if not new. This winter I needed some new boots so I said a prayer and asked God to help me find a pair I could afford and Good Will was the place where I found them. I paid $ 7 dollars for a pair of black boots and I like them. I would say that it was worth a trip there.
I often also find stuff for my baby girl there. They have a pretty cute selection of children’s clothes and the good part about it is that I can still fit in some of them. They have books, pictures, furniture, house hold items, purses, and belts. I bet you could find almost anything there. And when the money is tight Good Will ends up being a good place to go if you don’t mind to shop at places like that. I know the Good Will charity has gotten a little more expensive here lately for a second hand store but for the most part I think its still worth it.
