Dan Engelking has a good thing going on with Engelking Design. He’s easy going and he loves his job. I’ve been impressed with his work as he has made me some business cards and a banner for my website and podcast.

Engelking, a Stephen F. Austin State University graduate, began his design career at Signs of Times in Nacogdoches, a small shop located a block away from SFA. He grew a passion for the field and eventually graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration and has a second major in Advertising Design.
Shortly after graduating from SFA, Dan married his wife Sara and the newlyweds moved to Tyler.
“Over the next few years I gained further experience by running a 60” large format printer and designing signs and marketing materials,” he says in a statement found on his website (engelkingdesign.com) “As a designer, I also created concept and production drawings for many types of illuminated signage. I learned a great deal running the printer, but I missed working directly with clients like I did at the small sign shop where I got my start. Out of this desire, Engelking Design was started.”
