Batting Cages at MVP on Deck
MVP on Deck is over by the Army reserve building on HWY 110 as you begin towards Whitehouse TX.

You will find it down a road towards a bunch of metal warehouse looking buildings at the end. You got it, MVP is in the metal warehouse at the end on the left.

MVP on deck offers both softball slow pitch and baseball fast pitch. The baseball machines are used more than the softball so if you play softball like me this means no wait usually.

If you pick up your own balls after your done you get bonus tokens. If you don’t pick up your balls it’s no problem.

They sell Combat baseball bats in their retail shop and the owner is very friendly and will be happy to show you around.

They have a few TV’s going with current MLB baseball games being played. The middle machine is a baseball pitch machine with movie simulator showing an actual pitcher.

MVP on Deck is all about customer service and I think you will like this place. Call in advance if you would like to reserve the place for team practice and they will be able to accommodate.

The X Makes It Sound Cool

Game X Change in Tyler TX

Long ago, gamers grew tired of being exploited by insatiable corporations charging sixty dollars for a game that hardly began to live up to its own promises. Having not the power to challenge the mighty corporations for their money back the gamers rebelled and took the mighty business model of the pawn shop and combined it with the even more powerful horde of unclean teenagers and teenage like men that comprised the gaming community to form a amalgamation that in the end would forget its origin and return to greedy price gouging.

This, of course, is the story of Game X Change in Tyler Texas, a store wearing the disguise of friendly fellow gamer and good intentions but on the inside it’s full of a bunch of lazy, indifferent, and underpaid high schoolers who were lured to the job with the notion that somehow being surrounded by toys means you don’t have to provide any sort of legitimate service to the customers. Game X Change’s basic strategy is simple enough, you give them a game or movie and they will give you two thirds of what that video game or movie is worth in real money or half of what it’s worth in store credit.

This may seem like a measly pay off for your hard earned game but remember you got at least some game play out of it, think of this as a bonus or as recycling. Either way you’re losing money, so try and spend it on a game you know won’t disappoint.

Tyler Green Acres Bowling

January 8th, 2010

Tyler Green Acres Bowling located in the Tyler Texas area is lots of fun and fairly cheap. If you are looking for something fun and clean to do with your friends, I would strongly encourage you to try bowling.

I went there with some of my friends. The shoes only cost a couple of dollars and the game was $2.00 per game. Besides being cheap, it is very entertaining and lots of fun. Also it is a clean, environment, smoke free.

In addition to bowling there are also lots of other games you can play if you don’t like bowling.

There is a small area for food at reasonable prices and the taste is not bad. Also for a bonus there is free coffee. You can’t beat that. For those who would like to have a drink while they play a game there is a small bar area where you can order some drinks. Of course, I think it might impair your game so it’s probably better not to. But like I said that is available for those who like to mix the two together.

Next time you are thinking of something fun to do, but do not have lots of money to spend, gather some of your friends together and go to Tyler Green Acres Bowing. You won’t be disappointed, just thrilled.

In addition to the fun of bowling it will be pretty comical, watching your friends bowl. If you are the type of person that likes to make new friends, there are a lot of other people there that are bowling. You never know who you might meet. You just might make a new friend, while you are at it. And if you don’t have money for that, it never costs anything to go watch your friends and hang out. It beats being alone on a Friday or Saturday night.

Dove Tree Apartment Tyler Texas

Dovetree Apartments in Tyler TX
There are many different apartment complexes in Tyler Texas, but I have had the most personal experience at the Dove Tree apartment complex. I was first attracted to the complex because of the location and price. One advice that I would give to anyone looking for an apartment is to get the complaints that were made to the police department.

As my new family and I looked for an apartment we wanted a safe place for a good price. I found Dove Tree apartment. It looked great and could give us the apartment that we wanted right away. It was right in the middle of town. The apartment was just a couple miles from the mall and grocery stores. As a bonus, the apartment had a pool and a great work out room. Our neighbors were, nice, yet interesting, to say the least. We did not have any problems with the people around and we lived a couple miles from my work. It seemed great.

After a couple months after living there the roof began to leak. We called maintenance. It took about two weeks of annoying dripping throughout the night and several frustrating phone calls for someone to come take a look at our bathroom ceiling. Finally a man came in the middle of the day and vacuumed out a metal crawl space from where water was dripping into the four buckets we had in the middle of our bathroom floor. That idea stopped the unbearable dripping for only a couple days. A few more weeks past and several more phone calls before they decided to come again. I would think that if one thing was not working that they would try to do something else. But again the maintenance vacuumed out the water and went onto the next thing. I was very frustrated after fighting with this for months, and the entire time we lived there it never was completely fix.

Apartments have so many hidden secrets. Even though we had a six month lease we had to tell the management that we were leaving about four months before we were going to move out or they would charge us an outrageous fee. This bothered me, because if you get a six month lease, obviously your intentions are to move out in six months. I met one young lady who did not realize this rule and went to tell them a couple weeks before she left, they told her that she had to pay for the next month and some ridiculous fee that did not completely make sense.

The apartment selection is huge in the Tyler area, do not sale yourself short. Make sure the maintenance is quick and do not forget to read the small print.
