I finished workout number 22 at Tony Cruz XTC Fitness & Sports last week and I have yet to change my eating habits but I am now at 174 pounds from my all time maximize size of 195 pounds.
I am getting pretty good now at coming in almost every time to the group kickboxing class at noon at XTC. I am able to fit this 45 minute class in on my lunch break and get a really good cardio workout in while building a little muscle.
Because I am maintaining a moderate heart rate throughout the class it helps to decrease my appetite so even though I have not changed my eating habits I most likely do not eat as big of portions as I used to because I am just not that hungry anymore.
For having only done 22 workouts I would say that my weight loss is a pretty awesome result of this class and as a 35 year old male I see the main benefit being my increased health and lower chances of developing heart disease as I age.
I will likely eventually change up my diet more and eat healthier simply because as you move along the pathway of your goals you start to see your pathway light up in front of you showing you what to do next.
It simply becomes clearer as you move forward in business and life what the next step is and this is all a part of the game of success in whatever you do.
The important point to take away here is to do something. Move forward in some small manner and even though you don’t yet know what the end result or next step will be it will become clearer as you make some effort.
Tony Cruz XTC Fitness & Sports makes your progress even faster as when in a group workout class you are told what to do throughout the entire workout. A group exercise class does not have much of a learning curve or self motivation factor as you are almost forcing your will into action.
Every time I go to do one of these workouts I am amazed at the level of intensity and can admit that if left on my own I would have likely not forced myself to complete the workout with the same amount of effort.
A good group exercise class like the kickboxing or cycling class at XTC is a great way to move yourself into a new positive routine in your life. I truly believe you will feel better, healthier, and have a new outlook on how easy it can be to achieve new goals in your life once you do this class a few times.

Little Italy is a staple of Tyler cuisine. Little Italy has brought authentic and delicious Italian food to East Texas and Tyler has been hooked ever since.
This small white building on Broadway appears understated in comparison to the quality of food served inside. The staff will serve you promptly and politely, bringing out warm buttery bread while you make your selections and checking back attentively throughout the entire meal to be sure your needs are met.
Browsing the menu will assuredly spark your appetite but if you are unsure of what to try I suggest the Chicken Florentine or my favorite the Fettuccine Alfredo both of which come with a crisp yet simple salad to warm up your pallet for the incoming fine food.
Lasagna is definitely a specialty of Little Italy, every time I have it I am surprised by the robust flavor and general taste of authenticity that Little Italy is known for. For such a genuine Italian experience it makes you wonder why Little Italy doesn’t serve wine, a well known tradition in Italin food and fine dining.
But in spite of the restaurant being dry Little Italy considers and understands the enjoyment of wine with a fine Italian meal and so the customers are welcome to bring in their own bottles to enjoy with their meal. After your entree you might take into account the selection of fine desserts available for your delectation. Little Italy is a Tyler gem that brings culture and extraordinary food all the way from Italy and into are small grateful town.

I have been holding off on going to this restaurant because I have been sick for several days but as my symptoms have subsided I decided to trek out with my son to give it a shot.
My wife stayed home with Scarlet Fever while me and my son have just gotten over the flu and had a bit more of an appetite considering all we have eaten all week was chicken noodle soup.
I ordered the Lamb Makhani – lamb with tomato gravy, fenugreek leaves with Indian Spice. It was spicy but not too bad although if you are not someone who likes spicy food you should pass on this one. I loved it, the sauce was great, the meat was very good as well as the delicious Mango yogurt drink I got with my meal.
I shared the rice and Naan bread with my son and didn’t give him any of the spicy stuff.
The food tasted very similar to what I remember eating at an Indian friends house several years ago. What I remember was that my friends wife made very good Indian food and this restaurant offers a good replacement to that fond memory.
If you have always wanted to eat Indian food on occasion in your home town in Tyler TX you now have that opportunity.
Namaste Bombay is located close to Chili’s in Tyler on the loop. Feel free to comment with what you have tried and liked at this restaurant to give other Tylerites some good ideas about what to try when they go.

Injecting the hormones HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin), Oxyntomodulin, or Symlin for weight loss can be, both literally and figuratively, a real “shot to the gut”.
With each hormone having it’s variances in origin all three are essentially used the same in weight loss: inject it into your body and it will reduce your appetite to eat. The first attempts at injecting hormones for weight loss started as far back as the 1950’s when the pregnancy induced hormone, HCG, was thought to burn abnormal fat as well as help suppress hunger once injected into the body.
Oxyntomodulin is a little bit more interesting as it is a hormone released by the small intestine into the bloodstream to let the brain know that you are eating. The theory is that, when injected 15-30 minutes before a meal, you are tricking your body into thinking you have already eaten.
Is the HCG Hormone Shot Safe?
Symlin is a synthetic drug that copy cats the insulin regulating hormone Amylin. Primarily used to help diabetics, some theorize that the man-made hormone can help non-diabetics with weight loss by, once again, making individuals feel fuller and less likely to binge.
Among the loopholes in this method of weight loss is that each use of the hormones is accompanied with a regimented low-calorie diet. So, if you are exploring hormone injections for weight loss, I suggest you save yourself the cost of the injections and the hassle of pricking yourself with needles in the gut and just institute a 500 calorie per day diet along with plenty of exercise.

The battle of the bulge is one that almost every person in the United States is familiar with. With obesity reaching epic proportions in the country, it’s no wonder the weight loss industry is as large as the mass sum of all the people wanting to lose weight.
The fact is, unfortunately, that many programs and products marketed to help with weight loss are nothing more than marketing schemes. Knowing which programs work and which are scams is very difficult when schemers are so very creative pulling you into their products.
So how do you know which weight loss methods in Tyler, Texas are methods that will give you positive results? Simply speaking, there are no “wonder pills” that will make you drop 20 pounds in a week, nor are there any healthy quick fixes for obesity. Weight loss takes time if it is done right. Anyone in Tyler, Texas that promises you miraculous results in a short period of time is only after your money.
The most efficient and proven method for weight loss in Tyler, Texas and everywhere is adopting a healthy diet and exercise routine. While some of the weight loss supplements available do help some, none will give the desired results on their own. Most of these supplements are designed either to suppress the appetite, stimulate the metabolism for energy, or both. Without a good diet and exercise program, however, weight loss will be minimal and nothing will be done for muscle tone.
Kick start your workout routine and weight loss goal by trying a group exercise class. You may not have the will power to start out with but in a group you will find it: Visit the Tony Cruz XTC Fitness & Sports location: Map Website Blog
