We have used a few different plumbers to help us with our Tyler homes renovation projects but we really lucked out with our latest contractor. Before finding our current plumbing contractor I brought in some different plumbers that charged anywhere from $65 – $75 an hour and didn’t really seem to have the type of experience and ability that I would expect for paying $65 an hour. These other Tyler Texas plumbers got the job done but at a cost I cannot continue to afford to pay.
My cabinet painter told me about an experienced company that could hook up my sink and dishwasher correctly and for a good price. He explained that this company is affordable and experienced. I called Tim and Christi up with Wildflower Landscape and Irrigation and they came over and began the work on the Moen sink faucet set, the sink, dishwasher, and refridgerator. They were meticulous to make positively sure there were absolutely no leaks. They installed a brand new sink faucet set I bought at Lowes and made it look perfect. They also got the dishwasher into my custom cabinets in a really snug fit. They installed the cabinet fitting over the dishwasher so the dishwasher was established in the wall.
The refridgerator was hooked up to the water and works great. The sinkerator food disposal was also hooked up by Tim and Christi with Wildflower landscape and irrigation. The button for the disposal was installed into our granite countertops and the whole setup looks perfect. They were able to complete the job quickly and without any problems. I was very happy with their professionalism and how much care goes into their work. Tim and Christi really care about the job they do for their customers and it shows. You will notice that they never do a half way done job but always go above and beyond to the point of perfection which is many times not the case when working with a Tyler home building contractor.
We do not recommend every home building contractor that comes into our Tyler TX home but we are more then pleased with Tim and Christi of Wildflower Landscape and Irrigation.

I bought into the whole idea of a tankless hot water heater after investigating the science. I calculated that I would save money by going this route. I checked into the practicality of a tankless water heater and what I found was so long as you have it hooked up to natural gas it operates very well. If you have your tankless water heater hooked up to anything else I recommend sticking with traditional water heater in a tank. The reason for discouraging those without natural gas has to do with the water heater heating your water slower than you would like.

When hiring a Septic company in Tyler Texas to assist with a possible flooding of your tank and or house there are a couple pointers I would like to pass along. Usually when you start getting a back up in your house and possibly water flooding on your floors it is related to a combination of a clogged drain line in your yard, a night of raining, and an early morning shower and a couple of toilet flushes. If your drain line is clogged, you have rain water puddling on top of that drain line and you just took a long shower you may start to see water coming into your house from the bottom of the toilet, out of the bathtub, and who really knows all where it may be leaking out of. You want to put a quick end to this nightmare.
You will want to hire a septic company to come out and pump the water out of your tank. This will not solve your problem but will allow you to use your toilet and showers again provided another rain does not come. You will need to get to the root of the issue which are the drain lines. The drain lines many times are large PVC pipe with holes that come out at a slight angle downwards into the ground. They are usually built into a square with a cross of PVC in the middle. This type of setup allows for several drain lines to become clogged while still allowing water to flow in some of the drain lines that are working.

In my situation all of the drain lines seem to be clogged because no matter what I do water still some into the house. Many times a worker from a septic company will let you know if something needs to be done about your clogged drain line or the house flooding will continue. They will work off the clock to work and repair your septic. Because there are EPA guidelines to fix and construct a proper septic drain line the septic pump company will usually just be licensed to pump the tank but not construct a septic system. That is why many times in rural areas you have a hodgepodge of septic creations in the ground going into hay bails, a pile of rocks in the ground and so on. These type of setups sometimes work for awhile, not at all, or they just might do the trick.
You can hire someone off the clock to make your septic system work that may not be certified to do this type of thing but we do not recommend it. You may only pay $400 instead of $4000 but you may end up having to do it all over again the correct way. Instead we recommend that you hire a good quality septic company in Tyler Texas that has an EPA license and can build you a septic system that will last for years.

For instance, the stock countertops are priced by the foot and are generally cheaper. The exotic granite slabs are priced by the slab and can be quite a bit more expensive depending on which one you choose. The best way to get an accurate prce on your granite countertop job is to go to the granite slab yard at US Granite and pick out the one you want. Hank will then price the job based on exotic are stock granite. We were able to get by with just two slabs of exotic granite without much left over. This allowed us to not have to spend too much because of a ton of left over material.
When they came over to install the counter tops I was surprised with just how heavy these things are. He had two guys with him to carry each piece into the house. They carefully navigated through the house without scratching the walls or appliances.

We recently used a granite counter top company in Tyler TX that was recommended to us by a custom cabinet maker. Mitch West with Cupboards Plus told us about Hank Pruitt and his 15 years experience in cutting, fashioning, and installing custom granite countertops for kitchens and bathrooms. We called up Hank Pruitt and he came over and measured our cabinets and gave us a quote a couple days later. He told us we could go over to U.S. Granite in Tyler and let them know that Hank Pruitt told us to come look at granite slabs as he would be using those slabs to make our countertops.
We went over to U.S. Granite and discovered they had a very wide selection of exotic and standard granite slabs to choose from. We decided to pick an exotic slab as they have more unique aspects to them than the standard ones available. We chose a very flowing granite slab that was green and gray. Once we told Hank about the slab we had picked out he was able to quote us a price. Each price is dependent on how big the slab is and how many slabs it will take to create your counter tops.
We were able to have our counter tops made with only two slabs but we almost needed 3. Hank Pruitt cut and polished our granite counter tops and installed them on our newly built custom cabinets. He also installed our under mount sink and cut out holes where our faucet and handles go. The whole job was precise and crafted exceptionally well. Hank has been doing granite counter tops going on 15 years now and really knows what he is doing. He is an affordable granite counter top company and can get you a quote that will be competitive without sacrificing on the quality of work that needs to be done.
We have nothing but good things to say about Hank and would like to recommend him as our preferred granite counter top contractor.
