How does another movie review (or preview) sound? If not great, I understand so you can skip this post. If you’re going to see a movie in the theater, the best kind to see is action right? That way you can experience the big screen and surround sound at its finest. Having said that, the movie The Call might be one to consider.
No, I’m not endorsing this movie but I’m not boycotting it either. It seems like it could be an entertaining thriller and one I might see if ticket prices were cheaper, and no, I wouldn’t say that about every movie. There are some movies you couldn’t pay me enough to sit through the entire thing. This one’s not one of those.
The Call stars Halle Berry who plays a 911 operator. One day, she takes a call from a teenage girl who was just kidnapped. Wanting to do whatever it takes to save the young girl’s life, she must confront the killer.
This movie is based on an original story by Nicole and Rich D’Ovidio and Jon Bokencamp.
This film, directed by Brad Anderson, is rated R for violence, language and disturbing content. Its release date is set for Friday, March 15.
Of course, it’d be lame to go by what I think. We all have our own taste so take a look at the trailer above if you haven’t yet and decide for yourself.
