We ate at the Cajun Bayou restaurant in Flint TX off of 155.
It’s good guys you got to try this place out. They have a band playing tonight to kick off 4th of July weekend.
Considering it is pouring down rain this is a pretty popular restaurant.
Highly recommended for those nights when you want good Cajun Food.

Im the owner BOUDINMAN. I would like to thank everyone who came out to eat or just hang out to see the bands on the largest out door decks in east Texas. From Madisonville Louisiana which is on the northshore of NEW ORLEANS was a big step for me not knowing anyone was a chance to take . everyone from the state of TEXAS have a place to come and have that deep LOUISIANA feeling on the BAYOU just like i did growing up . We are closing in the first deck with a/c and heat . A BIG plus for everyone. Were working on the first SEAFOOD FEST. here at CAJUN BAYOU SEAFOOD MARKET some time in MAY. A three day event with all types of food from BOUDIN , PO- BOYS , GUMBO, SHRIMP, CATFISH, CAJUN BBQ SANDWHICHS, HOTDOGS, HAMBURGERS, AND YES "CRAWFISH". I took my family to the Cajun Bayou tonight and was treated to the worst service I have recieved at a restaurant in years. We ordered crawfish and they came out cold. The poor boy my son ordered was ok but I never did recieve the 3 piece fish and hushpuppies I ordered. I waited for over 45 minutes while my family ate and finished their meals. I was not served however. The waitress kept apologizing for the delay in food but it still did not arive. I was presented the bill for the delivered food and left the restaurant having not eaten. I cooked my own dinner at home and will not be back and will do my best effort to let everyone know of the bad service.
Hey! Heard some of the cast from Swamp People are going to be at your fab restaurant on August 5. Any truth to that? If so, who and how much to reserve a place?

HORRIBLE!!!! This place is appearantly now called Crawdaddys. We drove 40 miles to get here. This is the worst place I have eaten in years. We arrived about 6:00PM Saturday. I ordered unsweet tea since most sweet too is WAY too sweet for me. Silly me, I thought they would have artifical sweetener I could use. I was wrong. They had none. Unblievable. I gave that up and asked for sugar. Guess what, they didn't have that either. For dinner, I ordered an appetizer, the mud puppies. I also ordered the $11 fried shrimp. My wife ordered beer butt chicken. A few minutes later our server told us they were out of the chicken. She changed her order to gumbo only to be told they were out of that too. Unexcuseable for early on a Saturday. After half an hour, the meal finally came. So did the appetizer. The purpose of an appetizer is to appear before the main meal. I expressed my unhappiness only to be greeted by a shrug and "I tried to get it out earlier". Now to my shrimp. The six "butterflied" shrimp I got were not worthy of Long John Silvers. They were small and definitely not worth $11. I have gotten fast food shrimp for half the price that were better.
Very sorry you had such a bad experience. Based on the recent feedback about this place I will probably not be visiting this place anytime soon myself. Thanks for the heads up.
We will NOT go back, a sentiment expressed by another customer in the line to pay ahread of me. There are some many things wrong with this place. Perhaps the worst was the total lack of concern by the staff.
